Native Advertising and Whoops
We've talked about "native advertising" and how slipping content into news feeds is the hot new way to promote products/services. But, when Buzz Feed created some native advertising for MINI in "11 Awesome Facts You Never Knew About Rhoad Island" they missed up on their fact check. We'll share.
MINI and Carlos Danger
What is it with MINI today? On Friday the advertising firm Butler, Shine, Stern and Partners created a MINI ad which they tweeted from a Twitter account they also created called @CarlosDMotor. "Wanna get your hands on my stick?" It was, of course, a reaction to the new "Carlos Danger" handle for sext-o-holic Anthony Weiner. Oh my! As of this writing "Carlos" had only 289 followers with the one tweet...but clever no?
