Hey, a big thank you to the crew here at Des Moines Local...LIVE for filling in for me on Monday. We were in Michigan visiting Mom who is now 89, lives on her own and rocking Northern Michigan. For as long as she has lived 25 miles south of Mackinaw Island...she had never been. But we went and she now enjoys that adventure, along with images of great-grandchildren and our visit because my bride purchased a Kodiak Image Frame that now has 200+ images that rotate so she can show friends and family members. It was a nice trip and thanks to Amy Main and the rest of the crew for stepping in and helping out.
Our guest on the show today is Jill Schwartz the president of Schwartz's Systems Corporation. A former Special Agent for the Internal Revenue Service Jill devotes her time to family and to helping business owners understand what is behind their tax numbers. She also lectures and assists companies and individuals on finances, taxes, acquisitions and other small business matters.
Come on by and learn a little from one of the best...Jill Schwartzthis afternoon at 12:30PM Central on Insight on Business.
In addition to Jill we're following several other stories for you. Like...women in the work-force. Yikes...what did Mr. Welch have to say about that? Bottled Water and their public relations problems. Some local stories about the Iowa State Fair and Michael Jackson...and more.
