Regarding raising of postage again...I say go for it. Double it. Maybe that will cut down on all that crap I get from direct marketing. Maybe it will also FINALLY make banks that don't support e-statements to finally get on board. Yes this may hurt some businesses but I'm willing to bet the majority of those hurt by it are those that truly need to stop mailing thousands or millions or items weekly or monthly. And for those smaller businesses that might be hurt by it? They can change with the times and find new innovative ways to avoid high postage.

Doug - Thanks for reading and for the comment. Not many of us like the junk mail. However, raising the postage rates won't cut down on the amount of stuff you'll receive. What will happen with the rate increase is that as costs go up to companies they will then pass those costs on to you. With this rate increase we'll all pay more in not only postage...but also for the goods and services we use. Watch. Thanks again for the comments and for reading! - Michael
