Insight on Business with Michael Libbie is our live, Monday - Thursday business show here at Webcast One LIVE. We'll be on, live, at Noon Central or at anytime you want to watch the re-broadcast. Our goal here is to give you information and tools that you can use in your business...no matter the size. And, because it is a conversation, you can join us in The Chat or give your thoughts and questions to us on Twitter. I monitor @MichaelLIbbie before, during and after the show. Let's get to it:
I t's our final show for 2010 and rather than look back on "The Year that Was" we prefer to take a peek into the future. We've reached out to a dozen business people from around the country and across the business spectrum and asked two questions:
- What is your overall impression of the business climate in your area from last year?
- What changes and adjustments are you making to create a better business climate and success for 2011?
We'll share THEIR thoughts with you during the first half hour of the show.
As we close out 2010 I want to give you five business tips that we believe will make a difference going forward into the New Year. Some of these are incorporated in the responses of our survey and some...brand new.
And because it's Thursday we bring you "The Worst Ad of the Week" and as always...we've got some wild stuff to show you. All of this today with Insight on Business. Insight on Business is a production of our advertising agency, Insight Advertising, Marketing and Communications and made possible through the support of:

2011 looks to be another great year for the folks who manufacturer specialized farm equipment. Crop prices have been great and farmers should have the needed cash to replace some of their aging equipment.
Our major concern for farm income is the rising price of diesel fuel. Already up over 60 cents from last year, now showing signs of climbing toward the $5 line. Federal government's refusal to allow new drilling is not encouraging.
Dealing with Obamacare will be a growing problem for small manufacturers. Our hope continues to be that Congress will be able to slow implementation by refusing to appropriate funding.
