Trade Shows & Your Business
I share this because many businesses spend thousands of dollars at trade shows and receive little in return. That's no way to run a business. When your trade show ROI stinks it leaves everybody with a bad feeling about the event. Let's change that...today by starting with the "look" of the booth. Our client is Country Vet Pet Foods based out of South Dakota. We created their booth five years ago and it’s still…stunning. What makes it that way is a minimum of words and bold images. Here are several more tips:
- Booth Lighting – Even “if” there is enough lighting in the building spring for the extra charge to light up your booth. It gets noticed;
- Clean – Lots of traffic means lots of litter. Staff needs to be on top of making sure the booth is clean and neat;
- Staff– The booth needs to be well staffed and make sure everybody is wearing your logo and dresses similar. Branding people…branding; (photo: Lyle Steinman, Pro-Staff)
- Visitor Comfort – If you are having folks “sign up” for something make sure the tables are counter height;
- Product Placement – Don’t make attendees “guess” what you are selling/promoting
Hope it helps…

Advertising Agency Advertising
If you are a Seth Godin follower you might have caught his blog about advertising agencies not...advertising. Uhm...that would be us. Got me to thinking and now...creating. This should be fun. Wonder if we should be hiring somebody...
Some of you may know that we've done "voice work" for our own clients for years. Last week a woman from Montana called us asking if we ever use voice talent from other parts of the country. We do so we had a nice visit. Ellen called the very next day and said, "I feel really odd but I did some digging and see that you do voice work. Can we represent you?" So, I now have an...agent. Now I just need a posse. Company is new and they are Agent 99 Voice Talent. Sounds...like fun. That has pushed us into high-gear to get this studio finished..
Thanks for coming by...hope you have a superior weekend!
