We, along with you, are remembering where we were twelve years ago when terror was unleashed on our nation. We remember those who perished, those who lost loved ones and the men and women who still wrestle with the after effects of 9/11.
We're back with a full hour of business and economic news from the Des Moines Metro. We've been "bumped" a couple of times this week for the Chicago Cubs and we get "bumped" a bit tomorrow as well. But, hey...it's the Cubs! You can listen in today on our broadcast partner station 1350-KRNT, Des Moines.
Along with the business news of the day we'll be talking with Kiley Stenberg about "pop-up stores". What is a "pop-up store", why is it getting a buzz and what's going on? We'll answer those questions and more with Kiley during the second half hour.
Yesterday there was a school board election for various districts in and around the Metro. We'll visit about the turnout and several other items with our guests including Polk County Auditor Jamie Fitzgerald.
And, it looks like we'll be talking...WINE with Suzanne Hull and her "Wine Tour" going on this weekend!
We know you've got things to do and perhaps listening during the live broadcast may not work well for you. So, we've created a podcast page where you can check the audio of each News Hour. All you have to do is click on the IoB Microphone and you should be re-directed to our podcast page. Easy...no?
