The end of another business week and we start the newscast with a number that we thought would do more damage. For the interview...it's the Weekend so Jeff Pitts from Cityview is in the chat it up about stuff to do in the Des Moines Metro. But, first the news:
- The inflation number didn't rattle Wall Street;
- So what's driving inflation? We've got a list;
- The company says he needs a break;
- The food server fired after getting a $4,400 tip;
- McDonald's spending on...diversity;
- GM says the new electric Silverado will be "un-matched";
- The Wall Street Report;
- Oh, oh...Mr. Big and Peloton.
Welcome to the weekend! And, just like we do at the end of each business week our friend Jeff Pitts the managing editor of Cityview Magazine is in to chat it up about stuff to DO in the Greater Des Moines Metro. Even if you don't live close you'll get a "flavor" of the lifestyle events going down this weekend into next week. Like the East Village Promenade the Nutcracker ballet, Jordan Smith over in Pella, The Tall Grass Theater, "Geezers" in Ankeny, a bunch of basketball, the Iowa Stars take on Milwaukee, Lights, Trivia and a John Walters book signing at Beaverdale Books....whew!
Thanks for listening!
