Last week in Perry, Iowa there was a meeting of bicycle enthusiasts, civic leaders and small businesses gathered to discuss cycling in and around the Greater Des Moines Metro. Jim Miller was there and moderated one of the panel discussions. We asked Jim to share some of the conversation and talk a bit about the economic development angle of cycling and what the Raccoon River Valley Trail has meant to towns and businesses along the route.
