Every once in a while things click. Last week I was in New York for the New York Press Association Spring Meeting. One of the other speakers there was Val Hoeppner a media strategist from Nashville who has assisted many newspapers in re-thinking how they connect with consumers. I attended one of her seminars and we clicked. And, beyond newspapers, Val says there are significant ways in which any business can do the same by knowing WHO you are trying to reach, where they are and what medium you are going to use.
