Time to go Out to Lunch with the Business News Hour. Each week I take a thought leader "Out to Lunch" and talk business. The only wrinkle is that YOU get to listen in on our conversation.

Protecting Pets - Out to Lunch with Haley Anderson

Before we launch into our business lunch we do "Quick Bites" three questions...the same three questions we as each of our "Out to Lunch" guests. We ask about a book, a movie and a job. What book impacted you, what movie impacted you and if you were NOT doing what you are now doing...what would you love to do?  Three questions we call "Quick Bites". Here is Haley Anderson from Iowa Voters for Companion Animals with her answers and they were really...good. 

Each week I go "Out to Lunch" with an interesting person and you get to come along and listen in to our conversation. This week we're at the Range Grill + Golf with Haley Anderson from Iowa Voters for Companion Animals. This is a group that is lobbying for stronger laws to protect pets from cruelty. Cruelty that we've just heard about where a man stabbed his puppy and threw it in a dumpster because he was, "tired of it". Really?  Not only that but Iowa is a leader in what is known as "puppy mills" where bad actors mistreat breeding dogs...Really? Here Haley talks about the legislative effort to secure more protections for family pets. This is not a farm bill this is all about family pets and protection. Come with us as we go Out to Lunch!
