Entrepreneur Steve Wilke-Shapiro on Beautiful/Functional Design

His work not only focuses on preservation but also mixing the new with, sometimes, the very old. The result is a stunning project that ranges from the small to the very large. Recently Steve has added an interior designer to his firm having realizing some might want those "extra touches". College Sports Tickets - Student to Student with Josh Cohen

Last week I attended EntreFest a gathering of established entrepreneurs along with individuals who have an idea but have yet to launch. There I met Josh Cohen a young man from the Chicago area who has come up with an idea (and soon to be released) app that will enable college students, nationwide, to sell their event tickets to other students.  And, on top of that, make a little money. The application is called Seat Stock and students will be getting an email asking them to join just ahead of the college football season.  Have a listen, we thought it's a great idea!  Oh, and while you're here you can click through to his Mom's business Jewels Den.  Both...entrepreneurs. The Black Phoenix Group - Real Estate with Zac Bales-Henry

Capitan for Hire - Meet Brenna Young

This truly is one of the more inventive business adventures we've ever featured. Brenna Young was on our newscast way back in 2014
 when she had a catering business. A couple of years ago she sold that and reimagined herself as a "Boat Captain for Hire". She went to the United States Coast Guard training facility and now can captain your boat...wherever. She recently traveled to Florida to better learn about navigating the Gulf of Mexico. Her business, Party on the Lake, is a real tribute to entrepreneurship. And, she answers the question, "Why would I hire a trained boat captain for my boat?"  Listen as we talk about it.
