Gary Schmidt

The biggest the Democrats have in the gubernatorial race is that we don't have the will to win. That is what the presidential caucuses have done to us. We have completely forgotten that every four years we have the gubernatorial race and it is probably more important that the presidential race. All politics is local. The governor's race and our state legislature are far more important to us locally then the presidential race. Activist wear themselves out on the presidential caucuses and when the gubernatorial caucuses and then shortly after the race for governor and the legislature begins again and our activists have lost interest. Maybe we should skip the presidential caucuses? We need our energy in the right places.!
